Kuik Metal

KUIK Metal is a range of metal, aluminium and steel surfacing materials. The metal sheets are very thin, just 0.1 or 0.4 mm, so that they can be processed using standard woodworking machinery.
Aluminium sheets measuring 0.4 mm are protected via anodisation (items A000, A007, A008, A009) while those measuring 0.1 mm are coated with a layer of epoxy lacquer (items 2001, 7135, 7777). The decorations are recommended for vertical use only, so that they are not subject to scratches and scuffs.
The appearance of KUIK Metal changes when it is rotated by 90 or 180°. It can be cleaned with a soft cloth and with soap and water, avoiding the use of solvents which could damage the surface.
KUIK Metal can be used to surface various types of support on one or both sides. MDF panels surfaced with KUIK Metal can also be supplied with very deep finishes, like Dune and Line, which enhance the brightness of the metals.
The technology used to surface the panel with impregnated films, with neither glue nor water, guarantees a perfectly flat surface with no orange peel effect, as well as an even and permanent grip.
KUIK Metal in the thickness of 0.4 mm can be used to surface the methacrylates of the MATRIX range. It is also available as a simple sheet, with or without acrylic double-sided adhesive backing for quick and secure application.
KUIK Metal can also be supplied in a punched version, matching it to numerous base decorations, as explained in the KUIK Solutions chapter.
