Matrix

MATRIX is a range of panels with a methacrylate core surfaced with KUIK or HPL before engraving them.
SM’art offers a huge number of combinations, well over 10.000, with a minimum order of one single panel, working only with ex-stock materials, thus with very quick delivery time.
You can mix 11 methacrylate colors with many kind of surfacing materials, and few different engraving designs, obtaining a very flexible and highly personalized product.
Some methacrylate items are colored in the mass, thus non transparent, and you can get MATRIX panels with astonishing graphic and chromatic effects.
With the transparent methacrylate cores you get MATRIX panels which show a translucency in the machined areas, and they produce the best result when backlit.
The surfacing materials can be selected among the KUIK Metal and KUIK Acrylic ranges, and among all the HPL laminates in stock in SM’art.
We present here some combination examples, but you can play and create your favorite MATRIX on matrix mix.
SM’art can also supply the surfaced methacrylate board without engraving, so that the customer can machine it as he prefers.
Moreover, if you have some ideas on special engravings, you can draw them on Autocad and send us the file, and, after checking the technical feasibility, we’ll produce you absolutely exclusive MATRIX panels.
The MATRIX panels are in size 3050x1220 mm. The final thickness is the result of the sum of the methacrylate thickness, that is 4 mm, and the selected surfacing material thickness.
